We made it to Winter!!! We arrived just before 5pm after a normal day of traveling with 19 people. By 6pm the camp was mostly put together as the rain came in. As I am writing right now the rain (which was only supposed to last for a little while) is pouring. Its not bad enough to head into the church just yet and should pass by soon.
As I anticipated, my phone has no service here in Winter. But Ken Hazel's phone does. Please contact Ken at 262.620.5210 if you have any need to get a hold of us between now and Sunday. You may also leave comments on the blog and I will pass them on to who ever needs them.
Flexibility really is the key...but not only for managing expectations, its the key to opportunity. Along with the training and and outreach events we prepared, we will have an opportunity to help lead worship with some of the Winter EFC youth during the service this coming Sunday.
Please continue to pray for the group. Pray also that the weather clears up and everything that is getting wet dries.
A big thank you to all the parents for sending your students. Pray that God move big in their heart as they give their lives through service for our King.
