The rain finally stopped in the middle of the night and today through the rest of the week looks dry. After assessing those who got a little wet (sleeping up against the side of the tent) we made a few adjustments to the tent city in the church parking lot. I will post some pictures tomorrow.
After morning worship and devos, the main portion of our day was spent adjusting the training the students had prepared. The reach of the winter community is up to a 30 minute drive away. Because of this we have re-done our itinerary (I know you are surprised). Instead of doing a little training each day, we are doing the training all on Wednesday and following that up with an outreach.
Tomorrow (Tuesday) will be our main work project day. On the docket for tomorrow is helping clean up the look of a dilapidated gas station on main street, painting the new press box at the high school football field and helping get a house ready for a handi-capped gentleman who moving to Winter.
Pray for edurance for the team, no one is really tired yet, but with the storm last night, tonight will be our good sleep. Pray that the students are a conduit of Christ's love to the Winter community tomorrow as the serve and minister through acts of service.
Pictures should be coming tomorrow.
